David Ahearn is a national keynote speaker and best-selling author of the book “Happy Accidents: The Transformative Power of “Yes, and” at Work and in Life." He is also a co-founder and the host of the improvisational comedy show Four Day Weekend, which is the longest running show in the Southwest.
Founded in 1997, Four Day Weekend is an ISES Award (International Special Events Society) winner for “Best Entertainment”, was named Small Business of the Year by the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and has been awarded the key to the city by Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief for being “The city’s greatest ambassadors.” They have delivered a "Yes, And" keynote address based on their best-selling book at the Democratic Issues Conference for The United States Congress with President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden in attendance.
Ahearn is the host of the podcast “Happy Accidents” featuring thought leaders from around the globe (available on iTunes) and is the co-host of Yes, And Yoga on Amazon Prime video. The show features leaders in the health and mindfulness communities and offers hands on yoga kriyas and meditations in each episode.
David recently completed his latest novel, "Blue Pearl" which is available on Amazon and is currently working on his new memoir, "We’ll Always Have Paris" which chronicles his experiences on Four Day Weekend’s 2015 USO Tour through Europe and the Balkans. David is an entrepreneur in residence at TCU'S Neeley School of Business and he teaches the principles of “yes, and” to future entrepreneurs at the university. He recently won a lifetime achievement award for entrepreneurship from NAACE. He travels the world performing both Four Day Weekend’s live shows, hosting events and keynoting for Fortune 500 companies.
